October 24th 2008 "Mocha" whelped her second litter. This litter consisted of three. She was bred with Jer-Ne's Blue Magic Devil. Two girls and a boy this time.

On October 18th 2008 we welcomed our first litter of three from our beautiful blue female "BooBerry". She was co-bred with Beax-Arts "Hershey", a wonderful chocolate male. The litter consisted of two males and one female.

Mocha has had her babies....uhm baby!

May 27th I woke up early for work and went to check on Mocha (our chocolate Shar-pei). She was due any day. I didn't really expect to to find a pretty little blue girl crawling around in the whelping box. But there she was. Our first Shar-pei baby. I grabbed the baby and ran to the bedroom to awake my wife to the squeak of a newborn baby. I don't recall Kristen ever jumping out of bed so fast. She quickly grabbed the birthing box full of first aid supplies and ran to the aid of Mocha. Kristen has always been there, regardless of the hour, for our females during labor and assists them as needed...she is a great "doc"! I went on to work awaiting the regular phone calls... number two is a girl....three is a boy! Well, the phone calls never came. This is the first time one of our dogs only had one. Mocha is a natural at being a mother. She is so gentle and loving. We will keep you posted with updates on the puppy's progress.
